Ordinary Diploma in Computer Science

This discipline spans both theory and practice. It requires thinking both in abstract terms and in concrete terms. The practical side of computing can be seen everywhere. Nowadays, practically everyone is a computer user, and many people are even computer programmers.  This is a two-year programme and is offered at both full time and part-time basis.  Subjects include:

Data Operations – Level 1

To achieve the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) in this programme requires completing 14 mandatory units.  This course will allow the student to acquire competency in keyboarding skills, Information Technology, Microsoft application and safety.

Data Operations – Level 2

To achieve the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) in this programme requires completing 33 mandatory units.  This course will further allow the student to acquire competency in keyboarding skills, Information Technology, Microsoft application and safety.
